We Rearranged the furniture in our bedroom this weekend. Some people get things right straight away. I think our house is a constant work in progress. Or a work of gradual decay. It’s exciting to rearrange the furniture. Everything gets shook up and when it’s done it’s like you walk through that wardrobe in the Lion Witch and the Wardrobe and you enter into a new world. Or it’s like you’re on holiday.

Talking about holidays, we’re going on one, pretty soon. Airports have the same effect on me as tutoring at college/ university. It’s fine but it’s also painful to a point of…I end up spending money on things I don’t really want just to deafen the ache. A weird impulse. Buy crap.
